Dr. Amulya Kutikuppala

Dr. Amulya Kutikuppala is a Consultant Radiologist and Advanced Imaging Specialist at AIROC Hospitals, Kondapur–Gachibowli, Hyderabad. She has experience in MRI, CT, ultrasound, Colour Doppler, radiography and image-guided procedures across emergency, routine and oncology-related clinical practice.

She completed her MBBS from Apollo Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, Hyderabad, followed by her MD in Radiology from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal Academy of Higher Education. Her additional training includes an RCR-certified course in Breast Radiology and a Mini Cardiac MRI Reporting Fellowship from Narayana Hrudayalaya, Bengaluru.

Before joining AIROC Hospitals, Dr. Amulya worked as a Senior Resident in Radiology at Kasturba Medical College, Manipal, and as a Senior Registrar at Continental Hospitals, Hyderabad. Her clinical experience includes interpreting complex imaging examinations in neuroradiology, cardiac imaging, breast imaging, musculoskeletal radiology, gastrointestinal and genitourinary imaging, oncology imaging and emergency radiology.

She is experienced in evaluating time-sensitive conditions such as stroke, trauma, gastrointestinal perforation and acute abdominal emergencies. She also performs ultrasound- and CT-guided procedures, including biopsies, FNAC, pleural tapping, drainage procedures, pigtail catheter placement and image-guided musculoskeletal injections.

Dr. Amulya is actively involved in research and academic activities, including postgraduate teaching, continuing medical education, multidisciplinary tumour board discussions and interdepartmental clinical meetings. Her research interests include breast tumour-margin assessment following breast-conserving surgery and MRI-based evaluation of active diabetic foot.

Her approach to radiology combines clinical correlation, attention to detail and clear communication. She aims to provide accurate, timely and actionable imaging reports that support confident treatment decisions and better patient care.
